This piece was created during the 2021 Stamps Virtual Pre-College Program. It was drawn from direct observation of a still life I set up with objects that tell a story about who I am, including my telescope, my viola, a book, and a small notebook I use to record writing ideas. I spent several hours adding detail, focusing on confident mark making and varying line weight.
