I designed this poster for the Huron Players' spring 2022 production of "The Mystery Of...," an original murder mystery play written by my friend and fellow student Ari Yaffe-Inoue. The play featured multiple endings, with the murderer determined by audience votes on several seemingly innocuous choices at the start of the play, and took a humorous approach to murder mystery tropes. In my design I invoked the classic image of the "red string" bulletin board collecting information about suspects and clues. A variety of fonts and layers of paper create the effect of visual clutter, but the important information remains clear and readable.
